Fabrilicious Eggs

A couple of years ago I saw an amazing display of intricately painted blown eggs by an artist at the North Carolina State Fair. They were so delicate and beautiful. I wish I could remember the artist's name.

The dozen eggs that my daughter and I made this weekend out of styrofoam and fabric are not delicate, but we think they are quite beautiful. (Our no-sew method was messy, but quite forgiving.)

Of course, we can't take credit for all this loveliness.
These colorful spring fabrics and ribbons would brighten anyone's day.

Here is a pattern for dyeing your own Fabrilicious Eggs. Enjoy!
